Studenec (Ljubljana)

Studenec (; (ドイツ語:Studenz)〔''Intelligenzblatt zur Laibacher Zeitung'', no. 141. 24 November 1849, p. 21.〕) is a formerly independent settlement in the southeast part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Ljubljana. It was part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.〔(Ljubljana municipal site )〕
==Geography==
Studenec is a settlement that extends along a terrace north of the Ljubljanica River. The soil is gravelly. The houses extend along the road from Ljubljana to Zalog and onto the bank below the road toward the Ljubljanica.〔
